Stormy Success

Though the weather be questionable
The atmosphere form thick clouds
Winds whipped up, exposing unmentionable
Thunder and lightning tear apart shrouds
And like flaming sword
Following every loud roar
They leave the sky gored
As though humanity offended Thor

Though recalcitrant stones hinder your pace
The path suddenly turns bushy
Grass takes the place of grace
Life itself no longer cushy
And like bedeviling plague
Infesting and causing worry
They make life appear vague
As though life itself is blurry

Though life presents thorns in place of roses
The storm and gale seem high
Every opportunity closes
And circumstances make you cry
Remember life isn’t a bed of roses
And after the storm comes the rainy day
For storms presupposes
Then success and shouts of hooray
